For fresh produce, fruit growers, baked goods and food-to-go producers, the drive for changes in the way you protect and present your goods is changing. A drive away from single use packaging, such as PE coated or plastics, means a suitable alternative has to be found – one that can be easily recycled in the domestic recycling stream.

Ongoing investment for Cepac, as it enhances production of food safe packaging at Darlington. UK-based Cepac Ltd continues to enhance its business, having now completed the latest phase of a £20m, three-year investment plan.

We are visiting Fruit Logistica in Berlin, Germany this week. The trade fair is where global businesses in the fresh produce industries meet. This year, Fruit Logistica runs between 7th-9th February and the key talking points are Fresh Produce, Machinery & Technology and Logistics.
